He is Cofounder of FinTech Forge, which helps enterprises build and leverage their innovation capacity through strategic partnerships and investments, and Cofounder of the Alloy Labs Alliance, a member-driven shared innovation lab and accelerator for regional and community banks.

JP is a trusted advisor to companies from startups to the Fortune 500, a popular writer and speaker, is often quoted in the media, and his name appears regularly on multiple lists as an influential thought leader.

He is cohost of Breaking Banks, the #1 global fintech radio show and podcast, and the #1 business show on the VoiceAmerica network, on Provoke.fm media.

He is also the creator and instructor of a groundbreaking course on fintech and innovation that has been taught at leading graduate schools of banking.

JP previously spent 20 years helping to grow a small regional financial services company into a global leader with over $60B in market capitalization,

He holds a B.A. from the University of Akron, and an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University, where he conducted his research project at Buckinghamshire College in England. He also completed the Leadership Excellence executive program at the University of Minnesota, and is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute and the College for Financial Planning.
